We have joined the Design Nation!

Elin Isaksson makes functional and decorative hand-blown glass objects. Elin also employs sand-casting techniques to create one-off sculptures, using blown coloured glass shards encased in molten glass. 

Elin’s designs are heavily influenced by her Scandinavian background and early glass training, making unfussy forms in subtle colour blends. She divides her time between making small-batch production for galleries, teaching glass-blowing to the public, and producing bespoke pieces. Her work can be found installed in homes, offices and on cruise ships. 

Elin is very passionate about keeping the craft of glass-blowing alive: as well as regularly teaching workshops in this skill, she also assists artists and students in realising ideas in molten glass. In 2024 Elin was selected into the Homo Faber Guide by the Michelangelo Foundation, for her craft excellence in glass-blowing.

Elin is an alumni of Design-Nation who rejoined as a Professional member in 2025.
